Meet My Torturer "App Can Handle >2GB Address Space&

Hi All

I've been playing this game for a while. In my first game, I had to abandon the game at level 29 because of constant crashes. I looked for a solution for the problem, tried dozens of things, read dozens of pages and messages but couldn't figure out.

So I erased the game, reloaded properly, started all over but when I come to the plain area in the south of Whiterun, my almost Vanilla game started to crash like crazy again (only Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn and a water visibility mod). Again I started to add, erase, tweak various things but nothing worked. However I didn't give up and kept searching for something useful....

There is an idiom in my country about this kind of situations. It says, "The one who pees tenacious enough pierce the wall". You know what, I did it and pierce the wall  As far as I know, latest update of the game enables the game to address more than 2 GB ram. After trying tons of things I decided to deactivate this via Explorer Suite and it WORKED. After solving the problem, I erased the game again, reload like my first install (just deactivated hi-res packs) and put my level 29 character's last save file from my first game into the save files folder. The game is running with zero problem now and I can continue to my first game.

Obviously enabling "App Can Handle >2GB Address Space" speciallity with 4 GB ram is not working. I spent my long hours for this minor tweak which absolutely drove me crazy.

CONCLUSION: Modding a game may draw you into a deep sh.it. Game producing companies should release error detecting programmes for this kind of situations (If there is one, I haven't heard of).

Greetings
