DiD Competition Discussion, Trash Talk, and Nonsense Part 3

Post » Tue Oct 20, 2015 9:59 pm

ya know, funny thing.. I have two left feet.. I can't dance. I even took lessons...one..two three...ouch!! Did gymnastics and I can't dance... floor was my weakness. I got my 1st pony at 5.. mean little Shetland named Tinkerbell...( not my pick of name) ...I called him, Tinker. My opinion that is why he was so mean... he knew what the name meant.

Well we are all talking about it. Mr BA put up a pole and so far no one has actually voted for a restricted play through. As I said before I like a combination of Rafer and Sah's scoring and idea's. To me unrestricted means just that...except the usual ones that is. We'll see what everyone thinks... votes can change.

Areial.....Tell me ya didn't take my 'Restricted Play' list as a real suggestion hon  It's just how I normally play is all....hence the whistle at the end :)

Yeah, no magic except a very occasional flame and healing which Nords come with. It's only half strealth.....I can get very non stealth with a dagger and shield  :)

I suspect that the restriction talk started in jest. There are still zero votes for restrictions.

A pot luck round could be fun some time, though. Everyone could throw a few rules in and we’d all have to pick from them, but not choose our own.

My trouble with the blade traps comes the few times that they swing out of sync. I'm not very good at spacing the pause in the middle.

Edit: Ninja'd by Rick! Come on, it was going to be the Ulda Round! :D

Well... ya gotta Understand.. the little dude whistling doesn't show up on my phone... not all of the :D  guys do. And like I said, I could do most of that... except the Legendary part... I'd play that on Expert ...maybe master. I switch back and forth phone and pc even at home, because if I am playing, I just read off my phone.

Turija... both my cousins pitched... I could for practice, very accurate, but not fast enough for a game. I generally played 1st base, being a lefty.. that made it easier for me to stretch and not lift a foot off the base. I also caught and sometimes played right field...mostly behind one particular person as she wasn't very good.

The little whistling guy’s musical notes don’t show up for me sometimes. So it looks like he’s, er, working his mouth while gazing upward in adoration.

Rick sweetie, I don't take it all that serious to start with.... unless one gets downright rude... then... well that's what moderators are for. And NO one here has gotten that rude to me...or if they have it went totally over my head. I should probably use :D :icecream:  more often, but I don't think about it and like I said I can't see them on my phone and it would seen odd to use them only part of the time.

and I did misread the last sentence .. part of it anyway. The last round, ,that is how I play. I don't give myself penalties for using skills that aren't "core" skills... but only using a limited amount of skills. It makes my characters lvl very slowly past a certain point. Which is ok with me cause I'm more into their story if I am not thinking about were the next perk goes. I have literally gotten a character to lvl 25 and never took another lvl up, cause that was the perfect place for them to be for their story. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that on Legendary a character is still a paper firecracker at that same lvl.

Ha Areial.....I guess not seeing the emoticons kinda shifted it outta context a wee bit.

The gag was intended to be that my 'slight' Restrictions were not slight at all, but terrible, and that since I normally play that way outside of the competitions it would clearly greatly favour me if we all had to play like that.

It's only funny when it's ironic....kinda loses its edge once explained I think. In anycase I like you, you can buy a house in my hold for let's say 5000 Septims....see my steward if you're interested :)

It did a bit, but I also could have read it a bit more carefully . hmmm well is the house in a nice warm place, with lakes and rivers, plenty of places to swim and fish? Cause I might see the steward then.
