Hi everyone,

I recently bought the Fallout Trilogy and was happily making my way through Fallout 1 until I got back to Vault 13 with the water chip. After I talk with the overseer and give him the chip, and after he tells me to go to the library etc. , my character literally can't move. And if I hover the mouse pointer over my character it will erase the character from the screen! It's at this point that I can't do anything. I"v had no problems up until this point. I'm running version 1.2 of Fallout on XP Professional, SP3. The only thing I've tried doing so far is reload a previously saved game, but I get the same results.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there another patch I should apply? Is there another thread on this somewhere? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'd help, but the only original Fallout I've played was FO2.

Hm... just sounds like a random glitch to me. I seem to remember I might have had something like that happen to me once or twice. I hope you've got a recent save to backup to...
