Greetins.
Im new to the series and im in dark about a lot of things.

I need little help with character creation

My race will be Redguard. And i will be Warrior type with Sword and Shield.

What is good major skill for Absolute Build(leveling) ?

Also what Class Specialization should i take Magic, Combat or Stealth ?

Also what attribute should i focus and take ? Endurance for sure, and the other one ?

And what more should i know about the game ?

I accept all suggestions and recommendations.
Thanks in advance.

So many ways to go about it that it's hard to give people advice.

What works for me may not be how you want to play.

I usually go with a custom build. For a warrior type, I would go with Combat Spec, Endurance and Strength as favored attributes. Blade and Block as major skills.

I personally prefer to choose one major skill from each of the 7 attributes.

A typical major skill set that I tend to use is Blade, Block, Marksman, Light Armor, Destruction, Mysticism, Mercantile. Note that even though I have Light Armor as a major still, I would still wear Heavy Armor for the Endurance level ups and to avoid leveling too fast from combat.

Certainly you could swap out Restoration for Destruction, Speechcraft for Mercantile, or any other combination you choose.

I most often go with Atronach as a birthsign for melee fighters, just for the 50% spell absorption. You can increase that with enchanted items you find as you go along so that eventually you can become immune to most magic attacks. Though if you plan to cast spells yourself, you need to learn how to replenish your Magicka when not facing casters (potions, several other options).

I'm sure others will come along with different suggestions, so I'll leave it there.

Thanks for the reply, great help.

Redguard race:

birthsign - Warrior

Class Spec: Combat

Major skill:

Armourer
Destruction
Light Armour
Sneak
Illusion
Mysticism
Hand to Hand i will play with Blade and Shield(or its better Blade for major ?)

Is that good? :D

And one question about the 10 skill that you need for levling. If i increase with 3 some skill like Athletics for exmaple and i level up and spend ATT points into Luck, End. And Str, for the next level is this 3 count or the 10 for ATT bonuse start again?

I don't absolutely get your question. But after every level up, you will need another 10 points of major skill increases for your next level up.

Also: Are you interested in playing a pure warrior, or some Warrior/Mage Combination?

@Erlendur: Well, the spell absorption will still only be useful to you if you use magic. You can only absorb as many spells as you need to refill your mana. At least it worked that way in the older Elder Scrolls Games.

Pure Warrior.
The question was about the bonus from the attributes. You must have 10 point in a skills relative to the ATT for the bonus to be +5. But if you have totall of 6 in Light Armour, Acrobatics & Athletics - which is relative to Speed ATT, and decide to put my 3 ATT point into Endurance, STR and Luck, are this 6 stay for the next level ? Or i need new 10 to get the bonus from 5?

Is my choice good and easy for leveling and get all ATT to 100 ? And if i play Sword and Shield, what should i put into Major Skill - Blade or Hand to Hand ?

Also is Combat good Class Spec if i go for Absolute ATT build?

The leveling in this game is very awkward to be fair. Is it the same in Skrym and the Online MMORPG? Cause after i finish with this and Morrowind, they are next. :D

The Specialization is not all that important. It just improves all combat skills for 5 points.

Considering your example:

The Attributes bonus points will be calculated new after every level up.

So: You get a total of 6 skill ponits in Light Armor, you could theoretically increase your speed for 3 points.

However, this bonus will be gone for the next level up. You will have to get another 6 points in Speed Skills so you can increase your Speed Attribute for 3 points.

Skyrim has a similar leveling system, but it gets rid of "major" skills. You will get level ups for any 10 skill increases, no matter which skill. The attributes are gone too. On Level up you can put 10 points on Health, Mana or Stamina.

Good question, not sure about that.

But you should be able to follow your level up progress somewhere on the character menu.

Level up progression is at zero, but some of the skills are rised. :D

I google it and some people say its count, but then why level progress is at zero. Where i can go to sleep so i check if i can level ?

So not sure if I follow all of your questions - but if your intention is to hit 100 in all of your attributes as soon as possible, then you need to try for +5, +5, +5 at every level up, excluding Luck, which I will dicuss later. Luck is either an attribute that you focus on early or completely ignore. I usually completely ignore it until I get to the higher levels when there is nothing else left to raise.

So to get a +5 level up bonus in Strength, you need to increase Blade, Blunt, or Hand to Hand by a total of 10 points or more during that level - so 4 Points in Blade, 4 in Blunt, 2 in Hand-to-Hand will work, as will 10 in Blade and zero in the other two.

Same with Endurance - Block, Armorer, and Heavy Armor need to be raised a combined 10 points during the level.

So that's a minimum of 30 skill increases per level across just those attributes, plus whatever other skills go up by normal use. The skill counts stop when you have increased your major skills by a total of 10 points. If you had 15 points in Speed-related skills when you level up, you can get a +5 bonus in Speed, but the other 5 points do not carry forward. So the count towards the next bonus is back to 0 for Speed.

Even if you don't sleep, the game keeps track of when you would have been able to level up and any skill increases are applied to the next level up count.

Skill training is handled differently. You can only train 5 times between actually leveling up by sleeping. So if you are ready to level up and have not yet slept, and you have only trained 3 times, you can still train two more times, but those skills will apply to the next level, not the one pending you sleeping.

That is why I recommend you make sure you only have one skill per attribute as a major skill. You can work on the two minor skills as much as you want to make sure you get the total of 10 skills per level. If you were to choose, for example, Armorer, Block, and Heavy Armor all as major skills, then it would be very difficult to get a +5 in Endurance because to get the 10 points would also level you up, meaning any other major skill increase at all would prevent a +5.

I strongly suggest you use your primary killing skill as a Major skill. Even though you use them pretty frequently, they tend to level relatively slowly and one thing you need to make sure you are doing while leveling is increasing your combat skills. Otherwise the world will outlevel you. So if you are swordsman, then Blade should be a primary skill.

LUCK - If you really want to level Luck up to 100 along with everything else, then you should make Luck a preferred attribute (+5) and use the Thief birthsign (+10), and then go for a +5 / +5 / +1 attribute leveling scheme along the way. That would get you to 100 Luck by level 35.

Luck helps out more in the lower levels, though the tradeoff is that you are not raising your other attributes as fast. Up to you if you want to focus on it. Personally I have tried it a couple of times but didn't find the added benefit worth it.
