Less Mouse more Keyboard UI?

Hi,

I've been about to start this game for the first time and have it mostly set up. I would like to use my usb xbox 360 controller. I have been able to map to it and use it as a mouse and such to click. My concern? Having to go through menus and dialogue by meticulously moving the anologue stick so that I get the option I want. Is there anything that would make it more of a console friendly UI? Something that would make it able to navigate dialogue with the keyboard arrow keys or something?

A computer based UI is really not comfortable for me as far as getting the most enjoyment

Thanks

I don't think there is a way to get the game to recognize arrow keys. What I do is create a second "set" in Xpadder that is only accessed when I hold down the Y button, which I have mapped to "jump". Jump it rarely used in gameplay and its never held down and its never used in menus, so it makes a good button to base a second "set" off of.

In your second set, map the left stick to the mouse scroll wheel and give it a "turbo" to whatever tap speed you want. Now you can hold down Y and use the left stick to scroll up and down in long menus.

I also map my Dpad to different hotkeys in the second set so I can have access to more of the games hotkeys.

That all makes sense to me but I figured out how to word this better.

I would like to play Morrowind on my pc using an Xbox controller, which I can do. But it feels like a pc and not my Xbox because I can't use just the controller to select dialogue like I would if I was playing it on console. I have to go the roundabout way of emulating mouse movement to select dialogue. I would like, when I'm in dialogue or menus for the 'mouse movement' to snap to the interface like it is on console so that it's quick and easy to sift through

I'm doubtful this is possible after all my googling but I'm not sure I'll play the game without this. It really kills my immersion.
