Which mods are the ones you cannot live without?

Also, I am intrigued what you guys mod setup use in order to increase difficulty/immersion and overall fun. Vanilla Skyrim with their "difficulty" sliders is lame. Recently I've been getting rid of mods I use to love in order to improve my performance (mostly scripted mods), but kept the ones I just can't play without (like frostfall) because I love the immersion it brings me. I like "battle" mods too like Duel, Revenge of the enemies, DCO and Dadly Dragons, among others, and I decided to keep them. Let's not talk about texture mods because there are many (and awesome). So, how do you like to play and what do you use? And like the original question says, which are your most beloved mods

I use about 50 mods but there is a short list of mods I cannot live without:

Requiem
SkyUI
IHud
Less intrusive HUD
Warburgs Paper Map/A Quality World Map
Convenient Horses
Frostfall

I found the vanilla UI, HUD and map abhorrent and therefore most of the mods are aimed at making those and horses tolerable.

Frostfall makes cold areas feel cold and I would not live without it.

Requiem makes Skyrim into the game I wanted from the beginning. If I had to pick just one can't live without mod it would be Requiem.

With ASIS and Deadly Combat, the combat encounters can be huge epic battles. Also Warzones, Occupy Skyrim were great for adding more enemies to the world. And after going through Helgen a number of times, I prefer to use Live Another Life to skip that part.

Few more I'd probably include for any playthrough:

Unofficial Patch(es)

SkyUI

A Quality World Map

Run For Your Lives

When Vampires Attack

These keep the game in quite vanilla state but fix an assload of bugs, issues, annoyances and other idiocies that should have not existed at all.

They are indeed needed. I have them. I also have Immersive Citizens. Is great, uses ZERO scripts and I think included what Run for your Lives and When Vampire Attacks does.

I have iHud, SkyUI, A Quality World Map, Conevnient Horses and Frostfall aswell, and I also find them necessary and a must lol. I used to have Warburgs Paper Map but started to stutter a little more every time I opened the map (don't know why). Frosftall is my favourite of all time, and I'm waiting for the new version using the new camping mod by Chesko. Requiem really catched my eye, looks pretty interesting. Is it script/impact heavy? thanks in advance.

I may switch to A Quality World Map at some point because Warburgs has issues with mods like Falscar and I do want to try that at some point.

I don't think Requiem is particularly script heavy. There is an active requiem subreddit that is pretty active and a good place to ask any questions you might have about it.

A lot of mods require patches to run with Requiem to fix conflicts, but mostly to balance things, so you don't end up with NPCs/items that are way underpowered. Frostfall 2.6 also has a Requiem http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50941/?to fix a few minor issues, the biggest of which is you get free perks when casting certain frostfall spells. When Frostfall 3.0 is released, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61621/? is going to make a new patch for it.

Unofficial Patches

Frostfall

Skyui

IHud

Deadly Combat

I have a question for those who use Requiem. Can you use Deadly Combat and ASIS with it? Or does Requiem do the same things DC and ASIS do?
