Any Ashlander mods?

Post » Mon Nov 16, 2015 7:51 am

I've searched modhistory & nexus for everything with the word "Ashland"
There's barely a thing
Perhaps you guys know of a few gems out there.
Thanks~

It can be inferred that any mod that has anything to do with Ashlanders, and the Ashlands. Presumably. As with anything, there's room for improvement there.

The only ones I know of are Julan, an Ashlander companion, and LGNPC, which possibly fleshes out some Ashlanders (such as the ones in cities). I don't think a LGNPC mod of one of the Ashlander camps has been released yet?

Also, less substantial, but some mods probably add generic Ashlanders as filler and enemies, such as MCA...

There's Ashlands village by JMK, very good quest mod.

Melchior Dahrk's Silt Strider armor, Aoimevelho's Ashlander rebels, Aoimevelho's Mabrigash armored robes. That's all I can think of right now :)

You might like Abot's http://mw.modhistory.com/download-53-12367 mod, which adds pack Guars which can carry your stuff or be ridden. Not directly ashlander related, but it might help your character live an ashlander-like nomad lifestyle.

Julan Kaushibael and Vivec's Fate: An Ashlander Heresy are companion and quest mods respectively, and both feature ashlanders heavily.

Some mods which might help you role-play being an ashlander without being about ashlanders explicitly are Acheron's Camping Gear (lets you lay down portable bedroll and campsite in the wilderness), mods which enforce needs such as hunger or sleep (eg ModMan's Hunger mod, Duncan's Sleep or Suffer, or a newer equivalent like Destructor36's the Bare Necessities) and thus add realism to your nomadic lifestyle, and mods which increase the chance of retrieving your arrows from prey to make hunting for your food a little more doable. And of course, as mentioned above, Abot's great Guars mod.

I'll add my highest recommendation to Julan, Ashlander Companion.
