I am attempting to use a keybind set on the Steam controller that uses both buttons from the xbox controller and the mouse and keyboard. This worked for about 20 minutes and then simply stopped working after I died for the first time.

Now whenever I start the game it will only accept input from whichever I use first (controller buttons or mouse). The menus still properly use and recognize both forms of input, but the game will not.

Any idea how to fix this?
