when you pledge allegance does previously acquired gear ...

Disappeare?, I did the TG line until I got the gear then I stashed it in a barrel in back of Warmaiden along with a whole bunch of weapons then I think that I inadvertently became a Stormcloak way after.

I mean the gear and was there forever along with the weapons but now its gone and all the weapons are still there.

I was trying to do all quest lines eventually.

Thanks

No but the barrel can respawn. You may have come into town before enough so the time never reset... then you didn't and it did reset.

But all the weapons and armor were still there, everything BUT the TG was still there.

I had maybe 10 enchanted weapons and 8 various armor...well thats cool I have since bought Lake View and took all my stuff there and if I can still do TG then the gear will be in the training room so i'll just get that.

Im going to max all perks in all tree's this build so I'm going stealth at this particular time,im going to smith the TG gear, Thanks.

That is weird, but ya don't loose TG armor just because you join Dawnguard... or any other way with the factions.

Hey! The storage mishap was weird, sorry you lost some of your stuff. I think containers in the game re-spawn after 10 days so as long as you keep coming back, your stuff will be fine.

As for the TG armor, you can't smith it from scratch. You can temper it with leather which is what I think you meant.

By the way, make sure you do the side jobs for Vex and Delvin - many good things come your way as you help rebuild the guild and its influence. Also, be sure to visit Ravenrock over at Solstheim. The influence of the guild reaches far and wide with significant benefits for members...

Yeah 'temper' I was speaking broadly from ignorance, whenever I hit the blacksmith place I just think that everything that I do there is 'smithing'.

Try "take all" at once from the barrel.
