Well, I don't know about anybody else but I'm getting out of this thread before well-trained armies on both sides charge across the no-man's-land that divides Imperial from Stormcloak, before mortars get lobbed, grenades are thrown, bazookas are fired, before airplanes circle overhead dropping incendiary bombs, before weapons of mass destruction are deployed and finally, in one desperate last-ditch attempt to win this war that never ends, nuclear bombs are sent screaming across the sky and the entire Skyrim General Discussion forum explodes into a fiery pit of twisted metal and broken glass.

None of that exists in skyrim

And I didn't actually vote, because I RP my characters and one may have a reason to join the Stormcloaks and another my join the Imperials... each feel's that their side is the correct one, for the normal reasons one would guess at.

My Stormcloaks feel that it was wrong of the Imperials to sign the White Gold concordant and ban Talos worship.

My Imperials feel that Ulfric is just grandstanding for his own reasons and that the everyone would be better off united against the Aldemeri Dominion, with the Thalmors having so much influence.

So the answer is both....but watch out for the ...lol and I'm not talking about the game either.

On a more serious note I just go with whatever I feel fits the character best, which is neither of them 90% of the time. They're not really Skyrim natives and they don't exactly plan on staying there for more than a few years so. So far I've had 2 (3?) Imperial and 1 Stormcloak, but their reasons to pick those sides aren't really worth discussing.
