hello

i finished the main 2 quests in whiterun earlier.

also i ve joined the imperials and defended the stormcloacks. the attack on whiterun.

the jarl of whiterun than told he me would be happy if i purchse a house there.

now when i would speak to http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Proventus_Avenicci he gives me no option to buy any house...

please help

I've never encountered this problem, but I ran across the following solutions while looking for something else once upon a time:

1) Be sure to talk to Proventus during merchants' hours (8am-8pm);

2) If you have a bounty in Whiterun, pay it off (note that if you escaped from prison, guards won't attack but you'll still have a bounty).

Other than that, I got nothin'.

tx. but sadly i ve tried the 1st option out already. still same there are many dialogs but none where he would offer it.
