So, I'll start by saying I do not really know much about Computers in terms of the graphic, processors, and all that, so I just took the advice of the guy in the store where I got my computer upgraded.
I've had several bits and pieces changed, but what I'm finding is that Skyrim is actually has 'lower performance' than before the upgrade... I used to get 50-60fps outside, at least according to Elys' memory tool; now I'm getting 15-20 in the exact same location... I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what might be up, and how I might be able to fix it, because that seems like some kind of error... (at least based on the fact I was told these upgrades should make any current game play perfectly :/ )
OS : Windows 8.1 Pro
Processor : Intel Core i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20GHz
Installed Ram : 32GB
System Type : 64-bit OS, x64-based processor
Graphics : AMD Raedon R9 280X
(Is there anything else I need to post re-specs?)
So... Have I just been mislead by the store, or is there something actually likely to be wrong with my system?
Thanks for any help.
