[WIP] Custom weapons for Fallout 4

So the necessary tools aren't out yet, but I'm prepping some models & textures so that I have some custom armament to put in Fallout 4 once Niftools & GECK are out for it.

Starting off with the SPAS-12:

Can you please add an assault rifle to your list. At this point, I don't care which one - as long as it looks like an assault rifle. Anything other than a pipe weapon. I think it's kind of strange, that at the Nation Guard Station I'm finding pipe weapons in 200 year old lock safes.

Yeah, I've got some old models for M4A1, AK47 and AKS-74U I can make modular and add attachments for. Should be fairly easy to repurpose them for Fallout 4. Also wanted to make G3 and FAL at some point.

I downloaded many of your mods from fallout NV. All I ask is that each mod is able to stand out on their own. Your models and textures are pretty good.

What I want is a very modular M16. Maybe make it so that the weapon grows up from it's early inception to a more modern design as the player invest more in gunsmithing.

The big pipe rifle is very distracting.

Happy days happy days!! Mil is making more mods again. The one thing I ask is that if possible you allow customization between your rifles, shotguns et cetera. Say if I want to turn your SPAS into a double barrel I could. Or take an AK and give it pistol rounds. Any customization would be welcome. I just want to mess around and see if I can't make the perfect gun.

i agree, in that it would be nice for weapon mod authors to take full advantage of the in-game weapon mods (sights, barrels, etc) so that they can be customized along with the vanilla weapons

Considering all the mods the AR 15 has, such as side charging upper recievers, the numerous stocks, numerous calibers, and the magazines. I am actually surpried that a M16 lookalike is not in the game.

in short - "Art Style" rule such things

Fallout have alternative reality and at pre-world-war point

was huge focus on energy and nuclear technology

so many serial weapons already was energy-based (i guess)

ps. and AR-15 is too much "military realistic" weapon for sci-fi game ha ha ha x]

but for mod - why not - modular system of AR-15 can be fun

As far as weapon mods go, I'll try to have a nice coverage but probably won't go totally nuts on them on real-world weapons, anyway - maybe on some custom designed weaponry as it'll be easier to make it all mesh together nicely.
