Monsignor Plaza bug

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 3:16 pm

It's fixed! There was a TON of work done in that thread to try and figure out what in the world was causing it. Anyone able to speak to what conditions caused the bug to manifest? And from a programming perspective, what exactly was happening?

Thanks again for the patch, working great for me so far.

So the area near Monsignor Plaza that was crashing, stopped?
I was unable to complete the Silver Shroud quest, and the main questline Hunter/Hunted because they are located in the crash area.

Did you have any luck? Let's us know if with the patch this seems the case! I am anxious to do these quests!

Glad to hear it's resolving the issue for you. Thanks for posting!

We'd definitely like to hear from others that experienced this issue at launch to see if the issue is now resolved for you.

Experienced this issue as well; have had no problems since installing beta patch. Thanks to the Bethesda development team for taking care of this!

I'm a little worried now that the Monsignor bug has been fixed, Bethesda is going to pay less attention to people experiencing the same bug elsewhere.

I've heard a lot of reports about other crashes in other areas so I doubt it'll get overlooked. You could always create a thread with a list of all locations people are crashing at? Might help and get people to post

I've only played 10 hours on the save I found the Monsignor crash so now I'm scared Im gunna CTD elsewhere -_- ahaah

Actually, Bethesda contacted me this morning and snagged my save files. As frustrating as this bug is, I'm pretty stoked that they reached out to me so fast. Gotta give props for that. Hopefully they'll be able to kill all similar bugs soon.

Wow, thats impressive. Fair enouuuugh.
Seen a bunch of these reports on the crash thread, some even bought a new machine just to play the game - svcks that they can't because of these CTDs but its great Bethesda is reading up on them and asking for saves!

Please release the patch on consoles already! It's been TWO weeks since I bought the game and I can't do the story missions. I've done pretty much everything in this game besides the story quests. It's annoying
