Performance patch for fps drops please

People are still experiencing fps drops in certain areas. Please optimize this game, horrible experience with this issue.

Nice having something to dream about, right ;P

Sorry I got to break this to you pal, but serious performance optimizations, especially for AMD users, are not going to come around until the modding community gets its hands on the CK...

Yes. 2600k 4.1ghz and 290x Vapor x. Many areas I get drops to 30fps even with shadow distance and godrays turned down. Turning everything down to absolute minimum settings gains me about 5fps. Not acceptable.

i7 5970k, EVGA 980 GTX 4GB AC, Dipping from 60fps to 40-30fps on medium settings and low draw distance around downtown Boston and many dense-like towns as well. Resorted to using a program like Process Lasso just to reach a steady 50-55 fps in dense areas on medium-low settings on Current Gen hardware.

Frankly I'm surprised with all of these posts about low FPS. I get a couple drops to the 40s with a 970 and an i5-3570k at 4.2 ghz. It's not that bad. Everything except godrays and shadows maxed.

It's a brand new Bethesda game. Even Skyrim modded to this level of graphics rig has those kind of dips. Is the optimization lacking? Yup. Should you expect this from Bethesda? Yup.

Where exactly are you dropping to 40fps.

A 970 should not be dropping to 40 FPS in a game that looks like Fallout 4. Not saying it's the worst looking game out there, but there's plenty of games that look and run better than it.

Anytime there is a lot of shadows or godrays, I haven't really thought about it in particular. In the woods it'll drop, especially if the weather is a little foggy. Some places in the city.

Are you playing on a 4k- or multi-monitor-setup? My system never drops below 100fps on a 2560x1440 monitor with a rather old [email protected] GHz, 16 GByte RAM and a 980 Ti (which has 6 GByte RAM instead of 4 on the 980 - depending on your monitor's resolution, that might cause problems).
