Are we able to store all our junk here in the workshop place? Been grabbing whatever junk I find and been storing it there until I unlock the perks to make stuff. Just hope it doesn't all disappear!

I have stored in the toolbox next to the weapon crafting station but should switch to an crafted container, you just need some wood / metal to make an container so you can do it at once.

You can store materials directly in the crafting stations.

As noted by other posters, 'junk' can be stored at the crafting stations and you can build a container - I used a Steamer Trunk - for spare weapons, armour etc.. As far as I can tell, it's perfectly safe.
