That's up to Bethesda, I reckon. I would imagine they will have you doing equal parts irrelevant location scouting and infrequent soiling of established lore. If you work hard at your new dreams, you may be put on a skeleton team that is developing FO4 gun camo DLC!

Honestly https://flic.kr/p/qCfQae. The Android is from a Mod Daughters of Ares, which contains suggestible content. So I will not be linking to the mod page. But tone down the scifi edge, the shining plates, the six appeal and remove the factory new look and they would look awesome as Institute Androids.

Which may be a good excuse for having simple, binary morality choices. No need for heavily nuanced consequences when robots can only handle black and white good vs. evil scenarios.

Perhaps a backup of Harkness is loaded into a new body and he assumes a life as a vault dweller, steals a Vault 111 jumpsuit, befriends a German Shepherd, and travels Boston in search of redemption.

Blade Runner's replicants were genetically engineered humans not organic machines like Alien's synthetics and I'd assume that Fallout goes the synthetic route not the replicant one.
