Diamond City Radio no longer works?

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 3:18 pm

I don't have any idea if this is the result of the beta patch, but the problem coincidentally started after I installed the patch, soo....

Diamond City Radio no longer works. I can select it, but even after several minutes of waiting, I hear nothing. I double-checked the radio volume setting, which is on full (all the way up). Also, the Classical station works just fine. As does the Brotherhood transmission from the police station (when I get close enough to it). I'm in Lexington at the moment (near Corvega), so I can't imagine range would be an issue. I'm hoping it will fix itself the next time I save & restart the game, but wanted to post about it just in case it's an actual bug introduced by the patch...

Thanks!!! :)

I had that problem too as well as other's.

it takes about an hour ingame before the radio kicks in for some reason but yeah eventually will kick in.

Thanks! Just sent you a PM as well.

Also, now that the music has returned, does it work every time or does it still start with a period of silence?

JLeavey, I just sent you my save file, as requested. :)

For me, once the radio kicked back in, it's worked just like it always has....every once in a while there will be 5-10 seconds of silence, usually between two different DJ clips, but nothing like the looooong silence I originally reported.
