Hi All,

Last night I purchased Fallout 4 for Xbox One and was able to install and play the game with no issues. I went to the midnight released and played till about 3 a.m. fine.

This morning when I got up to continue my play through I am encountering an issue where the game gets stuck on the splash screen with the power armor.

The game will load to the 'push any button to play' screen but as soon as I push any button the game just sits there loading even if I leave it for 15 minutes. The green circle logo pulses in the bottom left and the screen cycles through its various shots of the power armor and then repeats.

Sometimes my gamer tag will appear in the top left corner and other times it won't.

Things I have tried so far:

- Turning the console off and on
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
- Force quitting the game and starting this again
- Signing in with a different profile
- Connection my console to a different WiFi (phone hotspot)

Nothing has fixed the issues so far.

Okay, managed to get the game going after the second reinstall and power cycling the Xbox at the wall if anyone encounters similar issues.

Same thing just happened to me. I played from 9 p.m. to around 3 a.m. then am getting back on now and it's been running for a long time. I just did a hard reset (hold down the front power button till it turned off) and it helped. I feel like this might have to do with the resume feature of Xbox because I left the game on when I turned off the console last night and this morning when I first was getting back on it was stuck at a black screen and I had to quit and reset the game. Hope this helps.
