It's even worse with this one since maxon turned Lyon's brotherhood this way.

eh even in fallout 3 i think i remember lyons saying that there were still a few members that were on fence about being with him or joining the outcasts, but i think the main cause might be because the lone wonderer nuked the citidel, well thats the impression i got from paladin danse

In my opinion the brotherhood of steel made a huge step forward by accepting new recruits into their ranks (to be fair, it was either that or face extinction). Military organizations like that are needed to restore some semblance of order in the wasteland and prevent the enclave & institute from trying anything funny, but their stance against last gen synths is unfortunate. The way I see it, we wouldn't want the institute to mass produce synths, just like the master mass producing mutants or vault tec exposing people to radiation to make the first ghouls needed to be stopped. However, the synths didn't really asked to be created, and the sentient ones should be given a chance to coexist, rather than having the BoS carry out their shoot to kill policy. They don't shoot non-feral ghouls on sight (even though they are smart enough to avoid the BoS), so I hope in the future that can expand to civil super mutants, and friendly synths too.

Arthur was in the citadel during fallout 3, he would have died if it was the one targeted.

By now you must have seen that they have way too many vertibirds and power armors for their own good

I like this BoS as it has some of the original, midwest and Lyons mixed in. Also today I saw 1 Legendary Knight Captain and 2 Knights tear through SM and Alpha Deathclaw.

It's kind of funny the MBOS has been retconned by F3 into a single lone chapter near Chicago on the verge of extinction while the EBOS is now a massive kingdom.

The LW had to fight his way to the purifier and climb in the heavily radiated chamber to activate it befor Lyon's made him a knight.

The biggest real world fear as well. You darn well know if ISIS ever got a hold of one, some city in the western world would cease to exist. Pretty scary thought that some sort of Fallout type of world could result from it. Sorry for bringing real world crap into our fun game.

Almost like the LW made it easier for Wastelanders to be accepted. :)

Didn't Lyon's BOS chapter have like 1 Virtibird though? Where did they get the airship and fleet? Unless reinforcements arrived, and with it a "get back to your primary mission and stop faffing about in the Citadel"

Their were multiple vertibirds at Adams air force base and they could have constructed more similarly how thay constructed the Prydwen.

You obviously haven't played the Brotherhood quest line, or you'd know these are definitely not "white knights". They are very much a military order out for their own interests.
