I don't know where to ask about a technical thing such as inserting media into a post... There is a BBcode available in that form: [media]http:\...[/html], but that doesn't seem to work.

This site doesn't allow images. You have to link to them. At first, that may seem like a dumb idea, but it helps keep the site clean and not bogged down.

I don't think it's a dumb idea, at all.
Considering how spam free this website is, and you have to admit, compared to most other forums you "rarely" see any spam, at all. I can remember maybe..one spam thread in the last few years? Anyway, I'd imagine that helps.

[media] and [img] aren't functional here, just link to it.
