Has anyone taken this perk? I love to explore and thought it might be nice but I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. Has anyone found anything worth exploring underwater?

I don't have it, and since I have a 1 END, I'm not likely to sink four points into getting 5 END and then a sixth point to get Aqua-Boy..... but having said that, ~if~ there are lots of interesting things to see underwater, I would be quite surprised to find that they did not place rebreathers or something similar in the game. It may be easier with AquaBoy but I doubt it's ~only~ possible with AquaBoy...

I have come accross a couple quests that require going underwater so that is what made me decide to get it

I'd be interested to explore the Thistle Excavation after getting water breathing. I wasn't brave enough to go very deep down at all, it looks bottomless while you're near the surface, so I have no clue how deep it goes or what might be down there.

There is this Glowing Sea that I've heard about.... if you can reach and explore the coastline, surely there will be some underwater stuff to do.

Help the guy there with the valves, and return after a while. The water wont be a problem then.
