Hi

I am trying to do the side quest for the Elder where he sends the player to see off the Mutants, I can see the door icon for Vertibird but can't see how to get to it. The vertibird that's there just takes me to the Airport. When I went there thinking that must be where the Gunship was the Quest icon stayed at mother ship. Just seems no way to get to that Quest icon

That's just a shortcut to get between the Airship and the ground.

You get Vertibird signal flares for calling them in later.

Hi no there's a one of the repeating side quests where a vertibird turns up to take you to destroy some Mutants, it wasn't there, but now it's turned up but there's no way of getting on board. The "E" command to board never appears. A bugged quest I'm afraid

EDIT: Actually it's not the Cleansing the Commonwealth quest line, it's the first mission the Elder gives you after being made a "Knight" , just can't get on the Vertibird
