I think they should avoid them, I know people who didn't get skyrim because of their fobia of them. They are also an over used enemy in horror and fantasy so would rather avoid them (along with not being part of the current lore)

Skyrim has my fear of spiders and Fallout has my fear of scorpions. I don't need them both in one game.
