Thing is that these days, they don't really even do good games. I rate the Fallout 4 experience as being quite mediocre, even when the key-mapping "feature" is taken out of the equation. This game has ridden entirely on the coattails of the previous games, the overdone hype and the dedication of the modding community.
Thing is that they are about the only ones making these sort of easy to mod, open world games, so if you want one, you're a bit like someone who wants to buy a car, but finds that the only thing on the showroom floor is a Lada.
Sure, take it home, tinker with it and replace enough bits and you'll end up with a mighty fine looking car, but let's not pretend that the engine, or chassis are safe and reliable, or that this somehow means that your original purchase wasn't a pile of stinking rubbish.
