Perception bug after head cripple

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 3:53 pm

My perception is supposed to be at 8, but it currently showing (-) 0 and won't go away. I've been trying playing for several hours now and would really not like to restart. I was early on crippled in the head, but healed with stimpacks, that didnt work. So i saved and restarted the game.(saw this solution online) No more crippled, but the Perception is still 0 and i cant do anything about it. Any help please!!

Getting the same here and hearing reports of it on other boards. Way too deep to restart now and this needs to be fixed.

Registered just to report this. It totally screws with character progression, since everything is rolled into the perk system. Kinda makes the game unplayable. I've also seen this elsewhere so it may be a matter of time before it picks up traction.

Please, Bethesda, don't ruin the games of Sony players yet again - the platforms are literally the same in every relevant technical aspect.

They don't care. They got their money. I mean, there has been zero response from the devs on these threads.

From gamefaq forum "I can confirm it is because your head was crippled, and it didn't go away when you healed it (glitch). The way I fixed it was to get my head re-crippled again, and heal it. This fixed the bug. Grenades didn't seem to work to cripple the head, so I ended up fighting the super mutants in Trinity tower and eventually got crippled in the head. Just go to get lucky"

Yup, same here. Can't seem to get my head on straight. Been playing for hours with -0 perception. Fun.

What was posted above seemed to work - somehow you have to get your head re-crippled then heal it again. That should remove the debuff. If not, you have to try again and again. Eventually it will come off.

I've had my head re-crippled a few times since then and thankfully the debuff hasn't come back. Yet.
