The quest shadow of steel will not start no matter what I do. I have finished the previous brotherhood quest semper invicta and the lost patrol. Speaking to Dense does absolutely nothing. I can only complete the radiant cleansing the commonwealth and quartermasterly quests for the brotherhood and cannot advance.

Shadow of steel starts automatically after progressing in the main story line.

I already did that. It is a script error.

Okay then, it worked perfectly for me. Completed the fort thingy, walked outside and boom giant ship in the air

main story kill Kellogg step outside fort something then there is a big ship out try again there

I aready finished that quest.

I'm having a similar problem where I enter the police station and there are a bunch of random assests and characters at the door and you either get stuck with them or fall into and endless pit

We're looking into this. Current workaround is as follows:

Well I figured out a way to start the quest if you are on PC and willing to use the console. Open the console and type "setstage BoS201 1" and then listen to the A95 Broadcast.
