I can move up to the point of getting into the cryo pod but the moment it opens I can't
There's still animations (fog and water drip and sound)

I can still pause and load an earlier save or quit and do everything else on the console

This is well game breaking since I guess I can never leave the vault ?

Just encountered this myself. I already have 2 characters on one profile. My brother tried to make one on his profile, but no matter what this bug kept happening. Then he tried to start one on my profile, but again kept experiencing this bug. Is there any fix?

Same problem here and it is driving me nuts. I already have a game in progress, but wanted to start one with a character of a different six. now I can't.

I had the same issue. I started third character after SO many bugs with the second one. after starting third character I was frozen after Cryo-chamber.

Solution (for me). Turn off console, Unplug Xbox from wall waited 5 minutes, reloaded run to the vault save, I think 17 min. And now I can move. But for how long? HA! HA! HA! HA!

By the way all my previous saves were gone. 2 1/2 days of game play, lost in the twilight zone.
