If a game or world is designed to look realistic it doesn't equal to "ZOMG GRAPHICSSS" like Crysis or Ryse. Games like that focus on graphics for a reason. Fallout/The Elderscrolls focuses on gameplay and immersion. In Fallout you want to walk around in a 1950's based apocalyptic future...which it does.

Also if you are really THAT worried then get the game for PC where I'm sure there will be thousands of visual enhancing mods that can fullfill your graphic ****** needs. It's not Bethesdas job to create a Crysis 4 in the world of Fallout.

It's an improvement from Skyrim, very much so. And I think that's all we ever wanted.

pretty sure he means model and texture wise, the lighting in the picture looks good but usually the lighting is the first thing that is exaggerated in promotional material and the first thing to be removed from the finished product.
