Blizzards sound a bit much, but drizzles, downpours, thunderstorms (as in times where there's storms overhead but no rainfall), dust storms, and the occasional dust devil all would be appreciated as far as I'm concerned.

Hurricanes are a bit of a stretch but I'm stoked that weather systems are in. I'm still hoping for Stalker like Blowouts like this that one day make it in a FO game: https://youtu.be/q_LzRrxCnv4

Yes, I am totally for the environment, especially in a post-apocalyptic game, posing a challenge to the player, as well as enemies, mysteries, puzzles, survival, etc. I hated how in Skyrim the snow or cold had no effect on you. I want a tough world you have to actually "survive" in. Weather effects should reduce visibility, cause fatigue, health damage, etc. They don't have to be very often or very extreme, but they would add to a rich atmosphere, something missing from many games. I've heard the argument that this wouldn't be attractive to the casual market who just wants to shoot stuff and "wrap" the game but I feel that's being a little too cynical. There could be an option for it. It could also be scripted into the main story/missions.

I think what I'm pumped for most is how the weather interacts with the buildings and other objects now that there are houses/buildings in the overworld that don't all have their own cell. Watching rain roll off the roofs, or finding a chuck of a roof missing and having the rain funnel into the house you've taken shelter in is pretty much my number one hope for this game.

Was this confirmed?

That sounds pretty neat. I'd love to see that.

I think hurting you is going a bit too far, but definitely lowering visibility and possibly perception, as well as things like regeneration of health/VATS and lowering Endurance would be acceptable.

Confirmed no. Everyone gets their own wild speculations after seeing the announcement trailer. That ones mine. :D

I mean, sure the rain could still clip through objects. I'm just really hopeful that isn't the case now that they decided to put some smaller buildings like houses into the overworld without their own cells.
