Just what the title says. Every time I enter jack valentines office to complete the earl sterling quest I fall through the floor. nothing I do seems to have any effect on me not galling through. Pretty annoying.

After agreeing to join the Brotherhood of steel in the Semper Invicta quest, I cant enter the Cambridge Police Station without falling through the floor. I tried loading a save an hour and a half earlier and it still happened. I literally cant complete this and am worried about continuing anything else just in case this doesn't get fixed in a patch. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using both entrances, entering in third and first person. Some items in the building also fall with me. I really hope that they fix this.

Yea I saw your post, seems we are experiencing the same glitch in 2 separate locatons.

Updatell on my situation: I was in diamond city so I decided to give the office another try. I clicked the door to enter and ran as far back as I could before it entered the loading screen, and I also continued to hold backwards and tapped th e jump button.

Miraculously, I did not fall thought the floor!!! After turning in The Disappearing Act,and getting the next case , I tried to see what was causing the glitch, and it became pretty obvious quite quickly.

Nick's desk chair for some reason was positioned directly in front of the doorway instead of his desk. This caused nick to be sitting in the chair ,blocking my entrance to the building. I have made Nick my companion in order to avoid the glitch from happening again, because even when he gets up the chair remains in front of the door.

I'm just glad I was able to circumvent this glitch , and I hope it does not reoccur. I hope the guy who is experiencing this glitch at the Cambridge police station finds a solution.

Another update: the glitch is happening again. I was able to complete the 2nd quest but am once again falling thru the floor when I enter the office even with Jack as my companion.
