So I have completed Taking Independence and it did not give me the achievement for it. i have tried loading back to before completing it and trying again, but still no luck. I have also turned the xbox off and on and tryed again, still no luck. Any suggestions?

Having the same issue. Waiting for about 200 GS that wont Unlock.

When you turned off the Xbox, did you do a hard restart (holding the power button for 10 + seconds)? I know that LIVE had an outtage yesterday and it could be tied to that. Hopefully your achievements will show up in the next day or so.
