3 weeks to deliver from Amazon?!?!?!?!?!

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 11:55 am

Ordered the physical PC copy from Amazon (cause I like having the discs). Anyway, the game did ship on time, but the tracking information has an estimated arrival date of 30 November. Wtf? And it'll be even longer cause I have to wait for military shipping to get it to where I am actually located. I'm not waiting another 3-4 weeks to play, so may end just getting the PS4 version here on base but why the hell the long ass shipping time from Amazon? Took less than a week for Amazon to get a couple XB1 games to me here.

This isn't a bug, nor is it gamesas's responsibility.

Who cares? That svcks. His comment will just be ignored like everybody else's. But yeah, I would take that up with amazon if it shipped on time.

Really, for this game, I wouldn't have bothered with the disk. Only about 5-6GB of the game is actually pre-loaded on the disk, you still have to download the other 20GB. I like to have physical copies though (case artwork and so on), so I know where you are coming from. Just with all the issues I've been reading about missing game keys (from Amazon mostly), safer to just digitally download this game.

Your best bet is just to go ahead and download the game via Steam, then when your copy finally comes in from Amazon weeks later, just return it without opening it. This will save you the chance of possibly having no key, plus you will not have to wait to play. Once again, you'll have to download 80% of the game regardless.
