I started playing at 4am, just finished playing recent because the quest "The First Step" is bugged.

I emailed (only because they wont give a contact phone number) bethesda the following

*Bugged Quest*
I am doing the quest "The First Step"
I have been to Tenpines Bluff and spoken to the lady
I have killed literally every single raider in the Corvega Assembly Plant and it refuses me to continue on with the quest. Please advise me on what I have to do now?

Bethesda's response disgusted me. They referred me to the most commonly asked questions.... Each of which had nothing to do with mine. Then they said for any further inquiries go to the forums.

I HATE FORUMS, [censored] doesn't get solved and i will be in the same predicament that i am in now, for a long time.

If thats how Bethesda treats customers that pay a lot of money for their product then im absolutely appalled. If this is not solved I am strongly convinced I will give up on Bethesda altogether.

Aaand hype train has crashed! as the game is full of bugs !

According to most reviewers and streamers the game has a pretty good autosave function that saves you from having to replay alot should you encounter bugs. So why don't you just load an earlier save and try again? Or do something else until its fixed, it is a huge game after all. If you are disgusted with their behaviour that is fine, but the way you are expressing concern about the game isn't that nice. A good attitude will help you.

I was hoping that I was just being an idiot with the quest but after searching an hour+ for more raiders I am sadly mistaken.

Because i was searching for the last person for the last 1-2 hours, all the auto saves are in the same area, I lost a lot of ammunition and stimpaks and all that business, which is not what im pissed about. Believe me the approach i took on this was extremely appropriate because i lost 8 hours of life. Im sure you would be mad too. I went to do "something else" but my main is also bugged, as I had just finished putting up the defences in sanctuary and the guy said he has nothing left for me but i should speak to....(the main guy walking around with the big laser rifle), So i attempted that, but once again was disappointed because he was strongly convinced there was nothing to talk about. This is something i would expect from a indie developer on a early release game, not from a World wide known game developer. the cherry ontop is they wont put up any of there contact details so you cannot actually voice your issues which makes me think that they think " oh look we got our money and we got paid, [censored] their thoughts".
