I need to report to Paladin Danse to complete the "The Lost Patrol" quest, but when I speak to him, there is no option other than the regular companion dialogue stuff.

I have the same problem with Hancock. I need to finish the Pickman Gallery quest and I only get the Dialogue for him to join me as a companion.

You most likely allready reported to Danse and didn't notice. You need to go see Captain Kells after speaking to Danse. When you walk up to Danse to report you don't get any dialog options, he just tells you to report to Captain Kells. Kells is in the cockpit.

Ill try that, but the marker still points to danse not kells.

Update on this quest, even though it will tell you too go see paladin danse to hand it in you have to see lancer captain kells. Hes in the cockpit down stairs in the prydwen.
