Can I join all fractions and get all achievements?

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 7:05 pm

Hi!

Can I join and finish all quests for all fractions that are required to get trophies in one go? Is BoS quests blocking Railroad progress? What about Minuteman? I'm talking about this achievements:

  • The First Step
  • Semper Invicta
  • Ad Victoriam

And other related to Railroad and Minuteman?

No, you would need to do more than one play through.

Do You know how long I can continue doing all fractions quests before it blocks? Or if I choose to join one of fractions it automatically blocks other quests?

Please, provide name of quests where final decision is made if this is the case.

Yeah, you'll have to save right before the rest get blocked off... so it's kind of possible in one play through. Just save before you start/turn in faction missions. :)

I agreed to join Minutemen, does that blocks other quests related to factions such as BoS and Railroad?

Yes, I want to do Minuteman, then Railroad and then just do BoS and stay with them. But I want to complete as many missions as possible in other fractions. If someone knows which quests are "showstoppers", let know:)

I played as the Institute:

Railroad Show stooper - hard to tell, but I believe it's when you are involved in the war at Bunker Hill. The leader will tell you to leave if you try to talk to her after that.

Brotherhood - You get a popup, but it's just before you teleport to the Mass Fusion Building

Minutemen - I think it's when you hand over the stolen Institute data to the guy at your base, and tell him "The Institute isn't the enemy", but I could be wrong on that. They might also be like Yes Man in NV, where you can go with them no matter what (in case you piss off every other faction)

I don't think so. Fractions have crapload of quests. Then You can do all of them in one play. Have all eq. It should be possible to leave one fraction in any moment and join other.

Still we don't have exact quest name, even answer if You can join multiple of them and then betray one.

Hi all I have answer for my own question:

Yes - the infiltration of the Institute (building the array and using it) is a point of no return, you'll be given the option to build the array with any of the factions you've already met with and at that point your faction allegiances start to change and shortly after you're expected to start murdering off entire factions to keep whichever faction you're aligned with happy.

Yes, once you've finished the "story" you can continue playing, but there will be less faction missions available because of who you destroyed in order to finish the story.

I found it in stack exchange gaming forum.
