What faction would you like to see in Fallout 4?

I can see both BoS's being there, along with Followers, Institute, the Railroad, probably something based on the Red Sox as well as Colonial/Revolutionary America (at least in terms of name if not appearance). Though I wouldn't be surprised if there was a pseudo Revolutionary War between the Institute and the members of the lower class.

Yeah, probably a bunch of Babe Ruth imitators.

I think a resurgence of the technology hording Reaver faction from tactics could be cool, maybe an interesting alternative to the standard post-apoc-mad-max style raider groups. Seems like Boston has more civilization and I'd imagine the regular raider types being less prominent due to better law enforcement and the benefits of joining society over mindless raiding. Reavers I could see being attracted to Boston like some sort of honey trap, launching suicidal attacks in their fanatical mission to horde advanced technology despite the advanced law enforcement in the area.

Bat sh** crazy, suicidal, ruthlessly aggressive, energy weapon welding raiders :D

Perhaps a faction that is not too well off that claim the Boston Commons as their territory. The Commoners. .

I think it would be really cool to see some faction that dresses like colonial American congressmen with the curly white wigs and such. Kinda like the kings.

Descendants of the Chinese army. It would make it very interesting, and give us a different point of view in the war.

The Brotherhood would make sense I just hope they aren't to big a focus or a forced faction to join

NCR or Legion would make literally 0 sense based upon where we are

I hop overall we get mostly new factions with a couple returning factions

Accepting others like people really isn't being a white knight, hell even the good ending or the poor reputation ending ends for the MWBoS killing people and force-annexing anyone who doesn't agree to be part of the group.

Ide like to see merchants intertwine with the affairs of factions.

The silver rush fought with the crimson caravan. I don't recall any other merchant wars, but ide like to see more. Ide like to see factions tagging along.

Since F4 partially takes place in the city. It would make sense for violent territory disputes to take place. Even out of the city; I could see merchant outposts heavily guarded.

Bgs attempt to make factions (civil war) was underwhelming and dissapointingly easy of a challenge.

Doesn't mean they can try again doing something a bit different.

As for major factions, being self sufficient: would add a whole new layer to any faction-territory-infrastructure conflict.

I don't know if the institute is going to openly fight (very unlikely in my view). I didn't seen anyone in power armour patrolling the city. All we saw was a landing virtibird.

I see the 'acceptance' as pragmatism on Midwestern BOS part, they didn't have the numbers to survive so they set up a protection racket and forced conscriptions on tribals (85% of who died in training alone, never mind combat deaths), the threat proved this was insufficient so they started recruiting from other races.

I'd expect the leadership to be mainly what was left of the original BOS, I don't see the Midwestern BOS as white knights, far from it they are more akin to an organised crime family which is willing to you any tool to enforce their will.

a family of spy's. Will there cause be the same? Or turn into a family business of espionage and assassination?

Assuming there were Chinese spy's in Boston. They would probably have there own safehouse in some place exempt for ICBM targeting. Eventually sneaking their way back into society in the city.

If not a family maybe some ghoul spy's who learned to blend in after 200 years and start there own secret organization recruiting people who sowed seeds of potential for there kind of work.

I'm certain we're going to see factions based around androids. Freedom fighters, oppressors, etc, but as for factions I want;

An all protectron gang, maybe like robo-tunnel snakes, you know something lighthearted

A group of highly intelligent FEV infected robobrains mutants

A cult of children that worship a deceased clown

Finally a group of friendly tribals like FO2

Pint-Sized Slasher?

As long as it isn't little lamplight all over again, I swear if someone calls me a mungo one more [censored] time... mods will be installed.

Let's just leave it at that.

I'd like for Lyon's BoS to make an appearance, but not as a huge faction (still joinable). Mainly just to see what they've been up to and what not. I'd like to find out what became of the Midwestern BoS, but I don't really care if they make an appearance. I'd like to see the Followers of the Apocalypse. I'm looking forward to all new factions to be honest!
