So 17 hrs in and all of a sudden I can't cause weapon damage. Have used VATS with 6 shots at 80% hit rate. Caused zero damage it missed all shots. Tried outside of VATS with my sniper rifle. 7 shots all center of the chest and can see the bullets hit the dirt on the other side of the person but still no damage. I can cause melee damage for some reason but no weapon. Have tried multiple different weapons even a mine. Went back to my 12 hr save and nothing! when vats loads it loads with me looking down even if I'm looking right at them.
Any suggestions or has this happened to anyone else. Really don't want to start fresh.

This is exactly what has just happened to me!
I can cause melee damage but nothing else!
I also can't be shot!
I loaded a save from four hours early and it worked fine for about 10mins, then the same issue happened again!
So frustrating!!!

Ok so figured out my problem. Bloody if your on Xbox one. Try completely closing out the game. I tried turning off the Xbox and that didn't fix anything but it keeps your game qued. Completly quit the game by closing it and then start it again. That fixed my issue. I loaded my 17hr save and it worked perfect again

Have the same issue at random times. When it happens I'm also invincible and doors no longer work, but I can walk through them.

I uninstalled and reinstalled - works fine now.

Same thing is happening to me, gonna be pissed if I have to start all over.
