Spoiler Alert, Issues with losing powersuit : Fallout 4

First, The Power suit is not stolen, I know exactly were it is but its unobtainable currently. What happened is that I was doing the first mission when you are going into the institute. I grabbed my powersuit, ready for a nice fight, and get teleported. Father talks to me and takes me in the elevator downwards. After talking to robot Shaun and Father, I take my suit off to explore the institute so I went up the elevator and haven't been able to go back down there since then. If you have any idea on how to get back down to robot shawn then that would be awesome since I didn't save for about 4 hours.

just buy a new frame. if you didnt side with the institute the armor is lost.. but you can buy a new power armor frame from npcs and build a new set (you can have multiple sets and store them in a settlement... the settlers will even use it if they are attacked if it has a core in it)

I'm just stating it because it svcks to lose it which for a frame is 3 grand.

to be fair.. (at least if you got into institute with brotherhood help) you were warned that it was a one time trip.. if you left your power armor there and didnt side with them.. its on you for leaving it where you know you wont be going back.

I did go back and do some of the brotherhood and didn't notice that they are trying to take out the institute. Originally I sided with the institute so it wasn't a one way, its just that you cant get back down there after you finish talking to them.

I took of my suit in Fort Independence, damn radio operator minuteman dude jumped in and everytime I ask the guy to leave (and yes you do ask him to exit the suit) he just days some crud about the radio and stares at me. So NPC;s will steal your suit too.

the only way you get locked out of the institute is if you side with any of the other factions (which all want to destroy the institute)(except the minutemen)

if you side with the institute you can teleport there whenever you want.. they give you your own personal courser chip that allows fast travel there whenever you like.
