So I have just bin asked to join the bos , I have already done a few quests with the Minutemen up to where we nab the castle , my questions ...

To those in the know what is the basic story with everyone ? I'm wondering who to side with ?

Institute : as far as I know they are the scientists that made the synths ( I hate synths , do my head in ) that tied with the fact they ( apparently ) have my kid , so I see them as kinda the enemy

Bos : every time I see em they seem to be doing good , killing raiders and gouls and the like , but there's just something about em I'm not sure about .

Don't know anything about the railroad ?

I like the Minutemen a lot , the idea of building the world back up one step at a time and the way they go about it I just like a lot .

Who do you see as the " goodies and baddies"

You can join all the factions up until the institutionalized main quest then you have to make a choice. That's your cut off point and your opinion of certain factions may change. The Minutemen are neutral you can keep building and making settlements endgame. I went institute and MM. It was pretty sweet

Your opinion about the Institute may change once you meet them.

The Brotherhood of Steel wants to reclaim the Wastelands from nonhumans, wipe out the nonhumans, have an authoritarian leader with a cult of personality, are expansionist and conquest minded, and fanatical in their service to the cause.

The BoS have become the Enclave.

It's just Wastelanders aren't the target anymore. It's ghouls and Synths and Super Mutants. The first two which include people you know.

Today's mission is to find the railroad and the institute , do a couple of missions for each and try to get a feel for em ,

So I got to the railroad and my first impression is that they are very hippy Ish , the chic didn't like me because I said I wouldn't take a bullet for a synth , but the black haired Jonny bravo is takin me on a job so I get my in that way , unfortunately I'm now going to work and won't get the chance to play until tomorrow , ain't real life a [censored] !
