***Settlement help please ***

I have a few issues I would like to address and get help regarding.

1st: How in the heck do supply lines work? I have set some up by see no benefit from them. I was told that after setting u a supply line that your workbench storage would be shared. This is definitely not happening. Do I have to create it A to B, B to C, C to A? Or just A to B does it? It leads me to my next question...

2nd: After I set up a supply line how can it be change or altered? How can I find these people I started up a supply line served as a "home"? The original settlement I put them in? Or the one I sent too or do they just keep going back and forth?

3rd: Where are all my settlers? It shoes I have 7 and I installed a bell and rang it...4 people came...where are the other 3? Plus the old lady is stuck on her chair...

Please I've been enjoying the game, haven't seen a single benefit of getting settlements up and feel like giving up on them...

The Supply Lines in Fallout 4 will help you keep your settlements upgraded and connected. They allow you connect all your resources together so you don’t have to lug it from settlement to settlement.

In order to set up a Supply Line you will need a few things. First off you will need more than one settlement or else this is pointless. Second off you will need 6 points in the Charisma tree and the perk Local Leader rank 1.

Lastly you will need an extra settler you can send out, they can’t do work while they are away.

When you have all those go into the Workshop menu and go find a settler you want to send out. Scroll over the settler and click the Supply Line button, on Ps4 it is R1.

Now you can choose which settlement to send them to. You can do this with multiple settlers and connect all of your settlements this way.

Doing this will allow you to build up all of your settlements to their maximum potential without doing a ton of fast traveling.

ive noticed when I set up a supply line that the actual resources wont pop up in the workbench of the opposite settlement but you can still use the materials from both settlements to build stuff and upgrade

I haven't try it myself, but that's the meaning of having a supply line between setlements. They should share the resources then.

Looks like what happens is they will share goods like food and water, as the supply line settler travels, and they will also share workshop materials, BUT they will not be visible to you in that location's workshop.

You can select settlements from a list in the Pipboy map.
