For some reason I am unable to get Preston Garvey to be my campanion following the completion of the Taking Indepdence Quest. I can only 'talk' with him but no conversational options pop up when I select the talk option. I can't trade and I can't request that he follows me.

Does this mean that the Minutemen quest line is now broken?

I'm playing on PS4 and other campanions are unaffected. When can a fix be expected on this? In 6 months I'll be asking for my refund as per EU law.

Any indication if this has been logged? The minutemen quest is now totally unavailable to me.

There is a known bug where after the quest to reclaim the Castle it becomes impossible to get him as a companion.

Wait until dealing with Kellog and visit the Prydwen before completing the quest, so this bug does not effect the Sole Survivor.

That doesn't help me now.
