How dare you people cheat!

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 3:41 am

First before I begin you all should be able to play the games like how 'I' like it. Games should not have a easy, normal, or hard mode the only difficulty should be, 'Very Hard'

Sometimes I want to be there in everyone's living room telling them not to choose the VANS perk but now there is an unlimited special attribute cheat and than a caps cheat!

How dare you all play a single player sandbox game the way you want to ! You should play it how I play the game !

As a business you should punish these so called 'customers' who cheat. Bioware employees who are known for doing the right thing and attacking customers, Chris Priestly who now works for The Witcher developer had a genius idea to punish people who used past glitches and cheats!

Nothing helps sales more than punishing your customers I say!

Yeah, if the game doesn't have multiplayer then who tf cares. If there is a game mechanic I really don't like I'll bypass it, even if that means cheating. Right now in Fallout 4 that mechanic is the fusion cells. They run out ridiculously fast, so for every one I find I give my self 4 more, because that is more realistic and lore friendly. I otherwise don't have an option until mods come out.

I only use PA when I know it's going to be rough. Cheating to use PA all the time would kinda break the game for me.

Pseron Wyrd, who has been on these forums basically longer than Todd Howard, said that "it is impossible to cheat in a single player game".

I'm inclined to agree. :)

(Then again, I usually played Fallout 3 in God Mode, blasting away Super-Mutants at point blank range with the Fat Man to blow off steam any time the guy behind the counter in the convenience store was rude to me.)

lol at OP. Nicely done, nicely said.

I'm not inclined to use cheats/glitches/exploits myself, but why on earth would I care if you do it in a SP only game?

Man who cares if I cheat? I use the console command "tcl" all the time. Also I'll admit to using it to give me some rare mats, like adhesive.

Well realistically only cheaters ever actually get anywhere in life. Lol If you think most CEOs get to where they are without devious tactics you are naive. I have absolutely zero problems with someone who cheats in a single player game after all the only one it affects is the player themself.

The only time I have issues with "cheaters" in single player games is when they start spouting off about how great their character is.

You know, the guy playing in God Mode who says "I've only had this game for 48 hours, and I'm already level 149. I've beaten everything in the game twice, and I don't know why you guys are having such a tough time! Oh, and this game is really boring!"

:D

Man when I knew I had one hour to get to a Quest objective before it failed - over water yet - I used 'tcl' to get most of the way. No time to fight varmints...
