Lost Valentine (Ps4)

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 3:30 pm

Hi guys,

So after I rescued Nick Valentine I chose him as my companion for a couple quests but then switched to Piper later and he went back to his office (didn't choose any of my settlements so it said on the screen he would go there). Now I want him back as a companion, problem is he is nowhere to be found in or around his office.

Anybody experienced a similar problem and has a solution? If there is already a thread about this please direct me to it.

Playing on Ps4 btw.

I'd like to ask about this as well. I dismissed Nick while on the Prydwen and told him to go to Sanctuary Hills. He's gone now. I've even waited over a week in game to see if that would give him time to move back to the settlement. The handling of companions in this game is atrocious and should be among the first QoL features addressed.

EDIT: I think I figured it out. Head to the Memory Den in Goodneighbor. Depending on your quests, he might be there meeting with Doctor Amari. I stand by my above statements though. Finding companions is a pain compared to New Vegas.

First of all, I love Nick. He's a great companion and character. If you dismiss before seeing Dr. Amari, he'll be there waiting on you.

Now I did his companon quest too. And at one point he just sat down. And was stuck on the floor. I had to dismiss him, and then ask him back. All this in the middle of a fight.

Yes, the companion interface needs work BADLY.
