Everything on the pip boy app works great, up until I tried to open a local map. The local map is just garbled garbage, random lines and crap on the screen. It shows doors and markers that I place, and that's it.

I'm seeing the same problem, everything else in the app seems to work OK.
Posters over on reddit have found that the local map works on the pip boy app when the computer's at low resolution, 720p or lower. Once you go above that, the map becomes unusable on the app.
Confirmed. I managed to make it work only if I change my resolution to 720p.
Any way to fix this? I would LOVE to have my Pip-Boy local map working in 1080...
Make sure a firewall isn't blocking it. Windows Firewall will block it by default. Click Accept on the Firewall prompt.
Yup... Have the same issue with the local map - the feature I'd probably would like to use the most - in the pip boy companion app. Tested on iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
Playing in 1920x1200 16:10.
Will not go for a lower resolution. Expect issue to be adressed shortly. Thank you.
Ditto here ... supposedly works on PS4 -> Android.
I have the same issue. Running the game on 1080p. Pip-boy app is running on a SGS2
Has there been any word on this issue? I'm having the same problem. Its pretty upsetting that I can't find any solutions online, or even a quick "we are working on it" from the devs.
