Language issue – Bethesda, hear us!

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 8:27 am

Dear Bethesda team,

As you know, many users have faced the same language problem. We lack an option to select the desirable language.

There already exists one similar topic in this section, but you obviously ignore it.

Everyone, who has come across the same problem, please, support this topic and leave your comments.

The problem could occur in 2 cases

Case 1.

The disc-version of the game was purchased abroad.

Some users have bought the disc-version of Fallout 4 being abroad, so, when they launched the game, its default language was set to English. And there is no solution to change it – neither change the PS4 language, nor reinstall the game.

Case 2.

On-line purchase of the game from foreign PSN account.

Some users have bought the game on-line. And those, whose PSN account was linked to the country different from their actual one, have faced the same language problem.

Bethesda, I am well aware of this extract from the Support section:

But what's the reason of prohibiting your customers to select the preferable language?! I guess...and I am pretty sure that our satisfaction from your product would increase, should you gave us this opportunity.

What is more embarrassing is the fact that you disregard us and do not find any time to contribute to our problem. We paid money for the legal copy of your product, so we reasonably require the proper support from you.

Please, give us a solution of at least the feedback.

This is why The Witcher 3 got everything its need to be the game of the year. In the standard version we got: game disc + soundtrack cd + change language at will including dub + printed map + stickers + great story + long game play

So, the best games of 2015:

1. The Witcher 3

2. Fallout 4

3. ...

Btw, the team that Dub/translate games in Brazilian Portuguese are very bad. They've skrull with Diablo 3, Fair Cry 4 and many others. They even change the meaning of the dialogues or even the main purpose of things in the game. Brazilians are very dodgy and silly over translation and dubs. At The Witcher 3 I've found 5 different characters using the same olds man voice. Yeah you know, lazy people!

This is one of the first things you realize when you learn some English. Sad but true!

The thing is I moved to Spain 1 year ago, so, unfortunately, I went to the nearest reseller store and bought the bloody disc-version of the game instead of purchasing it on-line in PSN Store.

Let's do it, indeed. If this can probably help us, I'm in.

It is confusing, yeah :(

I speak English, as my studies and surroundings require so, but nevertheless — Fallout was quite nicely translated before on Russian (my mother tongue), so I wish I had a chance to play on this language.

You actually sound really stupid when you make posts like this.

I can guarantee you are the type of person that travels to other countries and expects everyone to speak your language.
