So we'll have to piece the armor back together in order to wear it... interesting....

The developers did mention the new engine has more interaction with the environment. I would think this would be a direct effect to it. But i dont know

Also worth mention: power armor apparently has health/durability, shown in the customization screen (there's also a repair option) and in the power armor interface.

The combat looks great......unfortunately it seems that we will have to say goodbye the different types of ammunition and DT system. This will be missed.

I liked the dedicated button for grenades.

i may be way off topic here. I think the real time combat reminded me of call of duty for some reason. more so than fallout nv

For me the combat looked liked Metro 2033 or Last Light Fps which i liked fallout NV kinda felt weird using Iron sights abit but on FO4 looks alot better now and I havent played Call of Duty.

What I want is enemies (at least humanoids) fleeing when mortally wounded like in the original Deus Ex. That came out in 2000 btw ;)

Ooh, I wonder if this is why condition isn't seen. Honestly if they CAN implement a feature better than a % or bar I'm all for it. It's just if a feature is cut completely that it's worrying. I like the idea that instead of a generic armour condition the armour actually breaks dynamically and needs to be put back together.

It would make some battles pretty lame. Imagine you jump into a room full of raiders in full power armor and they scatter and run away instantly! Awesome at first, but it will get stale.

Well in Fo3 and NV enemies do run from you, dont see why not in FO4 if they tweak it when to run when you do a crit hit that explodes body part would be appropriate for them to think to run.

When we saw the raider, we saw a bar with their level, a number next to a shield (which could be DT, but based on the other number, is probably DR) and a number next to a lightning bolt, which is probably their resistance to energy weapons.

I personally think thresholds are the way to go. They give you more control over damage, and make armor feel more realistic (especially with armor that gets damaged) as pieces bust off, and no longer lower incoming damage in that location. Bethesda seems a bit more comfortable with % modifiers though.

Yeah, they do sometimes run but more so in Deus Ex. I liked it, made them seem more human.
