Thoughts on the Fallout 4 E3 Showcase

Please stop trying to start a platform war here, it's not necessary and it shouldn't be up to modders to save the game from itself. That is if we can even mod the game, I would have at least expected something from Todd saying yeah modding will still be there.

I only had 4 issues with it:

  1. Dislike seeing a jet pack.
  2. We're alive after 200 years (android or super secret cryo system?)
  3. Huge shape changes to known creatures
  4. Not finding the release date in words.

Personally this is over shaddowed by:

  1. Great looking word.
  2. Interactive world and building (more then I had hoped for)
  3. More new creatures.

And that's just off the top of my head.

I'm excited. Finally a proper crafting system. I'll probably try the base/home building thing but hopefully it doesn't get too annoying to the point where I'm being attacked every 5 minutes. Interactive Pip boy? Sign me up. Companions that dont just stand there like useless lumps? [censored] yes! Airstrikes and decapitation with a freaking teddy bear?? All of the yes!

I personally think Bethesda have done a fantastic job. Yeah the voiced dialogue is gonna take some getting used to but I am really impressed.
