I tried tweaking the FoV(up to 95) and everything seemed to have gone well after I made the ini files read-only. Before that they would forcefully reset back to the standard FoV. The ingame console command(fov 95 / refreshini / saveini) did not work either. However, after successfully getting it to work I ran into one error that is bothering me as hell and I'd rather play at the default FoV than have this problem:

I reset the ini files to default, even redownloaded them through Steam and the problem remained. It never got fixed. I've run out of ideas how to fix this. Is it a bug with the game or is it a bug with my save, or something else, and how do I go about to fix it?

Edit 2: So I fixed it. I deleted the ini files AGAIN, and reacquired them. I went and changed the FoV settings AGAIN just like I did before. This time - everything worked and it's back to normal. What the actual hell? It's exactly like it was before just...this time it works? What?!
