No Product Key included in PC Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition box

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 8:59 am

I have no PC Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition Product Key in my box. It is not in the box at all.

I cannot install the game from Steam without it.

Anyone else have this issue?

Bummer.

I've emailed support and called and left a message.

Hopefully they will get back to us soon so we can play the game that we purchased.

Mine was printed on the back of the "Vault Dweller's Survival Guide, Condensed Edition".
Did your Pip-boy Edition have this leaflet?

man outside the metal cd case comes with 3 leaflets, one of them is the vault dweller's survival guide (condensed edition) in grey... at the back bottom of that one you have a code XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX 15 characters. that is your steam code.

I do not have the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide, Condensed Edition anywhere inside of the game case or inside of the Pip Boy case.

Whatever you do, do not return your Pip Boy to anywhere. All of them are gone. There are no replacements for broken Pipboys.

In actual fact, don't even open the box, the Pip Boy is already worth more money than you paid for it.

I have the survival guide, but the Registration Code area never got printed... Pretty annoying way to burn a game's most enthuseastic following...

Update: As far as I can tell, Bethesda pulled the "not our problem" card (haven't gotten a non-automated response), but Amazon has agreed to send me a physical copy of the standard edition, presumably containing the code. Amazon is currently out of stock of the codes or they would have just sent me that.

My order was from Best Buy. I just tried a chat session and it was a joke. A waste of time. I'll see if Bethesda responds by noon tmrw and if not ill call Best Buy (unfortunately).

This is Bethesdas issue and they should take care of it.

Welp. I went ahead and contaced Best Buy. What a freaking joke. Basically 1 hour on the phone for nothing. They are a bunch of [censored] idiots. They will not replace it because they cant and they will not send me a PC version of the game. They said that they will be calling Bethesda (LMAO) and asking them what to do. Christ.

So at this moment Bethesda has ignored me and Best Buy is useless.

I will be taking this to the Best Buy store locally and demanding they give me the windows version. If they do not I will return it for a refund and I will never purchase another Bethesda game again.

I spend $130 just so I could waste my time and not even get to play the game I purchased.

I cannot believe I have not heard ANYTHING from Bethesda. This is ridiculous.

DO the support staff actually read this forum or is it just a front to make it look like there is support? It's pretty obvious their email and phone support is a joke.

Any recommendations?

One hour in chat with Best Buy. The lady was very nice and tried to help me but could not.

Messaged, emailed and called Bethesda again. I have yet to hear anythign from them.

Unbelievable. At this point I am so pissed off I dont even want to play the [censored] game anymore.

Headed to Best Buy after work.

Went into a local Best Buy store. They opened up a PC version handed me the code and said have a great day! Took me 5 minutes.

Thanks for nothing Bethesda. Your support is absolutely pathetic.

I hope you guys get your codes at some point. :/
